The Caen Institute of Civil Engineering and Construction (ESITC Caen) is a Higher Education Institution (‘Grande Ecole’) training highly talented men and women for careers in construction and civil engineering.
The ESITC Caen has been a not-for-profit organisation since 1993. It fulfils a public service mission by providing excellence-based training which is outward-looking, rooted in and informed by the worlds of enterprise and research.
The ESITC Caen is a private institution recognised by the French state and member of "Conférence des Grandes Ecoles" (CGE). It is accredited by the ‘Commission des Titres d’Ingénieurs’ (Engineering Accreditation Commission, CTI) to award degrees in Engineering to students and those in apprenticeship.
It also offers two Post- Master's degrees (6 years of higher education accredited by the CGE) in Eco-materials and BIM, and Port Engineering and Maritime Construction.
The ESITC Caen is a higher institute of engineering which specialises in construction. It is run by a not-for-profit Association (under the terms of the French law of 1901) and is governed by a Board of about 30 members. Its strong business orientation stems from its explicit aim of giving its students practical and operational exposure to the various disciplines of civil engineering and construction.
The ESITC Caen is a Higher Institute of civil engineering founded by ESTP in 1993 supported by the Ministry of Education, the civil engineering and construction federations, and local and regional governments. It is accredited by the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieurs (Engineering Accreditation Commission, CTI) to award the degree of "Ingénieur" after completed Initial training of full-time students or apprentices.
The course also benefits from the EURACE European quality label (awarded by the CTI on behalf of the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education).
